In Kyaukkyi (Mu Township) and Ler Doh Township within Nyaunglebin (Kler Lwee Htu) District, an area controlled by the Karen National Union (KNU), Military Council forces launched drone bombing attacks that killed 1 local resident and injured 6 others, according to a KNU statement.

On October 1, military forces dropped two drone bombs on Kyaukkyi village in Mu Township.

The bombing killed 17-year-old Min Khant Zaw and injured 45-year-old Daw Win Kyi, Maung Kyi Soe, Ma Chit Su, 47-year-old Daw Khin Aung, 53-year-old U Myo Aung, and 70-year-old Daw Mae Tu.

Additionally, on October 3, military forces dropped three drone bombs into In Pyuri village in Ler Doh Township, damaging 5 local homes.
