A local resistance news source told Khit Thit Media that the terrorist military launched airstrikes on the forest monastery (Taw Hte Taik) in Chaung Shei Village and the monastery in Htan Taw Village, located in eastern Kantbalu Township, Sagaing Region, without any ongoing fighting, resulting in the death of 1 civilian.

Today, October 3, at around 9:00 AM and 9:02 AM, two jet fighters taking off from Magway Air Base dropped bombs on the forest monastery in Chaung Shei Village and the monastery in Htan Taw Village in eastern Kantbalu Township despite the absence of any combat.

The attack killed 30-year-old Ma Than Than Win and injured 16-year-old Maung Zwe Khant Oo, 70-year-old Daw Tin Than, and 30-year-old Ma Hnin Hnin Kyaing, while also damaging several homes.
