On 28 September 2021, 7 government soldiers and 2 linemen of the government-owned National Grid Corporation of the Philippines were wounded in the explosion of a suspected landmine planted by unidentified assailants in Buadiposo-Buntong town (Lanao del Sur, Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao). The linemen, escorted by the soldiers, were inspecting power transmission lines that had tripped earlier in the month when the landmine exploded.
