On 28 September 2026, Russian forces carried out multiple drone strikes on the Podilskyi district of Kyiv (coded to Kyiv - Podilskyi, Kyiv). Drone debris struck an office building and damaged nearby residential buildings, while a separate strike hit a 16-story residential building. Russian forces also carried out repeated strikes on a critical infrastructure facility in Vynohradar neighborhood, damaging surrounding buildings, and the attack damaged the Exaltation of the Cross Church. 3 civilians, including two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old, were injured in the district.
