Missile event in Yemen on Sun 27th September 2026

On 27 September 2026, warplanes (claimed by IRG forces but likely Saudi forces coded under ORH) conducted strikes against Houthi reinforcements and vehicles upon their arrival at a recently established camp in the area of Mawiyah Junction, in addition to a missile site, a radio broadcasting camp and gathering of Houthi fighters and vehicles near As Saleh Residential City (coded to Mawiyah Junction) (At Taiziyah, Taizz). The strikes resulted in the destruction of military vehicles, weapons warehouses, and a command center, and caused 'a large number' of Houthi fatalities and injuries, including field commanders. According to Houthi media, the strikes targeted Taizz market in the area, and there were 7 fatalities and 40 injuries, including 5 children, among civilians. Total fatalities coded as at least 7 following the most conservative estimate.
