On 28 September 2026, in Kyaikto township (Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped 20 bombs on a village with a Y-12 jet and a jet figher in the early morning. The Myanmar military in Thein Za Yat also fired five howitzers on the same village. On the same day, the Myanmar military conducted aistrikes with a jet fighter and Y-12 jet in Chaung Sauk Ywar Thit village in the morning. Some crop fields in the village were destroyed. Casualties unknown.
