On 1 October 2026, the air component of Operation Hadin Kai launched air strikes (munition/weapon unspecified) against suspected ISWAP fighters, killing several militants in an unspecified location in Sector 4, which is coded to the nearby location Gombi (Gombi, Adamawa). The strikes were launched after air surveillance and reconnaissance detected the militants gathered under a tree canopy, with about 16 fighters and 15 motorcycles.
