On 26 September 2026, in Chi Par (South) village (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military troops stationed at a checkpoint at the south entrance gate conducted drone strikes with three suicide drones around 12 pm at a house compound on the east side of the village without an armed clash occurring. 3 civilians (a 65-year-old man, a 70-year-old man, and an 80-year-old woman) were killed and 7 civilians (a 9-year-old child, and men and women between 20 and 70 years old) were injured. The house was also destroyed. 3 fatalities.
