On 1 October 2021, a drone strike, suspected to be Houthi, targeted forces of the pro-Hadi 22nd Infantry Brigade in Ad Durayhimi district (Al Hudaydah) causing fatalities and injuries. Unclear fatalities coded as 10. It is uncertain who carried out the strike with source speculating that Tariq Saleh could have been behind it as he was responsible for the redeployment, or that the Houthis conducted it after successful intelligence work. The brigade, led by General Abdulaziz at Tahshah, was redeployed to Al Hudaydah two days prior.
