Militants on October 7 hurled a grenade at a Security Forces (SFs) bunker at Braripora in Safakadal area of Srinagar, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, reports Daily Excelsior. However, there was no loss of life in the blast. SF officials said the grenade hit the netting of the bunker and exploded on the roadside, without causing any damage to human life. The windowpanes of a private vehicle were damaged in the blast, the officials added.|Separately, the SFs neutralised one UGBL grenade that was found lying in crop fields in Kulgam District in the afternoon of October 7, reports Greater Kashmir.
