SAA event in Lebanon on Sat 3rd October 2026

As a result of a security surveillance operation, a patrol from the Directorate of Military Intelligence raided the home of citizen (A.Sh.) in the Bshamoun-Aley area and arrested him for trafficking in military weapons and drugs. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was seized. Citizen (M.Z.) was also arrested at the time, as he was wanted on an outstanding warrant for firing a weapon. Additionally, a patrol from the Directorate arrested seven Lebanese citizens and two Palestinians in the Nahr al-Bared camp and in the areas of Tabbaneh, Qubba, and the vegetable market in Tripoli for drug use and trafficking. A quantity of drugs was seized from them. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation was launched with the detainees under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.
