On September 26, three Naga civilians were killed and another injured after suspected militants opened fire at Kalenjang village in Senapati District, Manipur, India TodayNE reports. The deceased were identified as Rocky Mao, Kumar Poumai and Ashiho Sani (49), who succumbed to his injuries at a private hospital on September 27. The surviving injured, Adani Manio (33), is undergoing treatment. Reports have alleged the involvement of cadres of the Kuki Revolutionary Army (KRA), although the claim has not been independently verified. The incident occurred two days after four Tangkhul Naga civilians were killed in a separate attack at Pilong village in Kamjong District.
