At least 13 Afghan Taliban personnel were killed after Pakistan’s Security Forces thwarted an attempted aggression in the Gulistan sector located along the Pak-Afghan border of Chaman District in Balochistan on the night of September 24, reports Geo TV. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in a post on X, rejected the claim by Afghanistan that a Pakistani post near Spin Boldak had been destroyed and that Afghan forces suffered no casualties. “As per actual facts, an attempted Afghan aggression in the Gulistan sector was thwarted on night 24/ 25 September and during the process and subsequent heavy punishment inflicted on opposing Taliban posts, at least 13 Afghan Taliban personnel were killed and several injured,” it added. Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel Waseemullah and Shahid Iqbal were reportedly killed during clashes with Afghan Taliban forces, adds Frontier Files.
