Five-armed attackers were killed during an exchange of fire with police after armed men attacked a police checkpoint in the Aghberg area of Quetta District of Balochistan, reports Zrumbesh on September 24. Parts of the police station were reportedly set ablaze during the attack. The identities and organisational affiliations of the attackers were not disclosed, and no group had claimed responsibility for the incident at the time of reporting.
