Security Forces (SFs) conducted a pre-emptive intelligence-based operation in which six terrorists were killed collectively in the Kech and Quetta Districts of Balochistan on September 22 and 23, but did not provide a separate casualty figure for each location, reports The Khyber Chronicles. The operation was aimed at disrupting terrorist activity and preventing attacks against the local population and Security Forces. Troops engaged the terrorists in an intense exchange of fire, resulting in the killing of terrorists. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site. The operation was part of Pakistan's continuing intelligence-led counter-terrorism campaign under the Azm-e-Istehkam framework.
