Grenade event in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Badaber, Peshawar District area, Pakistan on Sat 19th September 2026
19th September 2026
On September 19, a grenade attack targeting Sheikhhan Police checkpost was foiled after the hand grenade thrown by terrorists became trapped in a protective net installed around the post and failed to explode, in Badaber Police Station in Peshawar District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reports The Khyber Chronicles. Following the incident, Police alerted the Bomb Disposal Unit (BDU), which examined and neutralised the grenade, while the area was cordoned off and a search operation launched to trace the attackers and determine their escape route. No casualties were reported in the incident, and the grenades failure to explode prevented damage to the Police post.
