Shan State Progress Party (SSPP) troops shot and killed two Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) members in Kyaukme Township, according to a ground source.

On the night of September 26, SSPP forces shot and killed two TNLA soldiers in Min Kone Village, Totsan Village Tract, Kyaukme Township.

"It is not entirely clear whether they got into an argument at a shop in the village, but we learned they were shot dead following that," a source said.

The two slain soldiers were identified as TNLA local defense force members Mai Aung Moe and Mai Aung Nyan (also known as Ba Nyan).

Shwe Phee Myrar is continuing to investigate further details regarding the shooting.
