Resistance forces launched a heavy artillery attack firing 45 rounds at the military's Tactical Command Base in Hpapun, Karen State, damaging buildings and barracks, according to a statement released by the Federal Revolution Force (FRF).

On September 27, a joint force comprising the KNDO, the FRF Heavy Weapons Production Team, and the KNLA fired a total of forty-five 60mm heavy artillery shells at the junta's Tactical Command Base in Hpapun.

The shelling struck key base structures where junta troops were stationed, precisely destroying officers' quarters and troop barracks.
