Rocket event in Syrian Arab Republic on Fri 2nd October 2026

In a preemptive security operation, the General Intelligence Directorate, in cooperation with internal security forces, thwarted a sabotage plot in the Yarmouk Basin in Daraa, and arrested a cell affiliated with the Hezbollah militia consisting of three individuals: (F.K.), (Z.M.), and (L.A.). The operation came following precise monitoring of the cell's attempt to prepare rocket launch platforms with the aim of carrying out attacks in an effort to undermine security and stability. The platforms were completely dismantled, while investigations continue with the detainees in preparation for referring them to the competent judiciary to receive their just punishment.
