On September 30, 10 militants of different militant outfits surrendered before Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles along with Longding Police in Arunachal Pradesh, reports Northeast Now. Four self-styled militants of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Unification (NSCN-U) two of Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland-Reformation (NSCN-R) and one each of Yung Aung faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland – Khaplang (NSCN-KYA), National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Isak-Muivah (NSCN-IM) National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K) and Eastern Naga National Government (ENNG) who actively engaged in extortion and collection of taxes in the region surrendered to join the mainstream. Five weapons and other warlike stores were recovered during the surrender.
