On 19 September 2026, in Kya Thaung Seik village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military conducted airstrikes and dropped three 500-lb bombs with a fighter jet and fired heavy weapons three times with howitzers from Ka Taing Ti military outpost around 11:30 pm. A school, five houses and monasteries were damaged. There were no casualties.
