On 21 September 2021, the Ukrainian Forces fired 120mm mortars at the positions of the Donbass People's Militia near Yasynuvata, Donetsk. As a result of the shelling, vocational school was damaged as well as six windows, the facade and gas pipeline of the boiler house of heating system. In addition, because of the explosion of mines on the territory of Yasynuvata Secondary School, the glazing and walls of the boarding school were damaged, 63 students were forced to find shelter. There were no injuries or fatalities.
