On 20 September 2026, at night, Ukrainian forces carried out massive combination of ballistic missile and drone strikes (using 'FP-1', 'RZ-100', 'MICH-2000', 'Palyanitsiya', 'Vendetta', 'Lyuty', 'Bars', 'Flamingo', 'Sichen', and 'Pelican': long-range drones, surface-launched missiles, hybrid missile-drones) on objects of energy and industrial infrastructure in different parts of Moscow city and its suburbs. Several drones directly struck a warehouse (290,000 square meters) complex belonging to Modern Warehouse Technologies LLC in Sofino town (Moscow). As a result, the warehouse went up in huge flames and burned. Casualties unknown. Moreover, on 'Severnoye Highway', a drone crash caused a fire in the roof of a 21-story apartment building, where 400 people, including 70 children, were evacuated. 20 cars were damaged. Additionally, one drone struck a three-story apartment building on Novaya Street. As a result, 6 apartments on the third floor were damaged. 2 civilians (a 44-year-old woman and her husband, who died in the hospital) were killed, and 5 civilians, including a child (15-year-old girl) were injured.
