On 19 September 2026, Israeli warplanes carried out an airstrike and the Israeli military fired artillery shells and combed with machine gun-fire Qantara town (Marjayoun, Al Nabatieh). Casualties unknown. The IDF stated it carried out airstrikes targeting 'several Hezbollah infrastructure sites, including surveillance posts, in southern Lebanon' in retaliation to a Hezbollah IED attack that injured two IDF soldiers.
