Terrorist military forces heavily attacked Thayetpingyi Village in Htantabin Township—located along the Sittaung River about seven miles from Toungoo town, Bago Region—using air power and heavy artillery, injuring two civilians and damaging residential homes, two local sources told Red Peacock News Media.

The attack took place yesterday (September 18) at around 2:00 PM, when military forces targeted Thayetpingyi Village with kamikaze drones, jet fighters, and rockets, according to local reports.

Local sources confirmed that the attack was launched without any active ground fighting occurring in the area.

Both sources noted that among the two injured civilians, one remains in critical condition. Several homes were also destroyed in the assault.
