SAA event in Mexico on Mon 21st September 2026
21st September 2026
Northern border security is non-negotiable, and every strike against organized crime is a necessary step to regain territorial control in Tamaulipas. During operations carried out on September 18, 19, and 20 in Reynosa, the Mexican Army and the State Prosecutor's Office detained seven individuals and seized two vehicles, seven long firearms, four magazines, 100 rounds of ammunition, and two telescopic sights. Institutional pressure must be sustained to prevent criminal cells from continuing to operate with total impunity. What more is needed from the authorities to eradicate the presence of these armed groups in the region?
