On 15 September 2026, a landmine planted by As-Sweida National Guards exploded while a civilian man was plowing agricultural land in Najran town in western As Sweida countryside, injuring him with shrapnel in several parts of his body. Local residents had repeatedly complained about anti-personnel and anti-vehicle mines planted by As-Sweida National Guards in areas of western and eastern As Sweida countryside without warning signs. There were no fatalities.
