On September 24, four militants belong to Mangkholam Kipgen faction of Kuki National Front (KNF), a non-suspension of operation (SoO) Kuki militant outfit, was arrested from a forest near Gopibung village in Kangpokpi District of Manipur, reports E Pao. The four arrested was identified as Henpilal Haokip alias Be'm alias Ronney, Lalkhohao Kipgen alias Lalneo, Manggoulal Kipgen and Letminlun Kipgen alias Lulun. Two country-made pistols along with one magazine each and four live rounds each of 9mm calibre were recovered from their possession. Prior, South Asia Terrorism Portal (SATP) reported that the Delhi Police’s Special Cell had arrested the ‘C-in-C’ of Manipur-based insurgent group Kuki National Front from Dwarka area in Delhi on September 20.
