On September 23, night the house of a slain Line Officer of Khasadar Force Zarmat Khan was attacked in Jamrud in Khyber District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province with a rocket which partially damaged the boundary wall of the house, reports The Express Tribune. Police said that the attackers were two in the number who managed to escape after the inmates returned the fire. The inmates were constantly receiving extortion calls from Afghanistan. Their residence has been attacked twice before. “The family was a target in the past and it is a target even now. An FIR has been registered and police opened an investigation in the case,” said a Police official.
