An encounter took place between the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) cadres and Security Forces (SFs) at Andhra Odisha Border (AOB) in Visakhapatnam District of Andhra Pradesh on September 23, reports hmtvlive.com. During a combing operation launched by the SFs, the exchange of fire between the Maoists and the Police took place in the forested region in Visakhapatnam District. There were no reports of any casualty in the encounter.
