Russian strikes in Sumy region leave two killed, three injured over past day.

Two people were killed and three others injured, including a child, as a result of Russian strikes in the Sumy region.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police of Ukraine reported this on its website.

In the Sumy community, a Russian drone strike killed a 38-year-old woman and injured a 41-year-old man. An apartment building, vehicles, a shop and an educational institution were damaged.

In the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a Russian drone strike killed a 54-year-old man.

In the Konotop community, a 14-year-old girl was injured when a UAV struck.

In the Hlukhiv community, a 33-year-old man was injured in a Russian drone strike. A house and a shop were damaged.

Investigators have opened criminal proceedings in all cases under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes). The investigation is ongoing.
