Russians dropped aerial bomb on historic building in Sloviansk.
In the Donetsk region, Russian forces struck a non-operational medical facility in Sloviansk with a high-explosive aerial bomb, partially destroying a locally designated architectural monument.
According to Ukrinform, Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, stated this on Facebook.
"Today, September 21, at around 16:30, the enemy carried out an FAB-250 airstrike on a non-operational medical facility in Sloviansk. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the statement said.
According to Liakh, the partially destroyed building is a locally designated architectural monument.
"The building was constructed in 1901. For more than a century, people were saved here. The hospital survived the First and Second World Wars. But it did not withstand the Russian invasion," Liakh emphasized.
He also noted that nearby private houses and cars were damaged.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on September 20, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on an evacuation point in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region.
