Local residents told Khit Thit Media that a terrorist military drone attack in western Madaya Township, Mandalay Region, killed one civilian and injured a Buddhist monk.

On the night of September 17 at around 8:00 PM, military council troops stationed in U Dein Village in western Madaya Township launched an attack drone twice to conduct air raids.

During the attack, one bomb shell landed and exploded on the monastery in Bo Gyi Kyunn Village during the first run, followed by two bomb shells on the second run.

Because of this military drone attack, innocent civilian U Tun Wai from Bo Gyi Kyunn Village was killed, and one Buddhist monk sustained injuries.
