A KIA military source told Khit Thit Media that joint forces led by the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) captured the terrorist military's Border Post No. 30 camp in Khaunglanphoo Township, Kachin State, seizing weapons and ammunition.

This afternoon, September 18, KIA joint forces completely captured the Border Post No. 30 tactical base in the Ah Mett Paw area of Khaunglanphoo Township.

The base was jointly stationed by the military's Light Infantry Battalion 137, Light Infantry Battalion 280, and Pyithu Tsit (People's Militia) forces, and featured a helipad as part of its major infrastructure.

During the base capture operation, junta soldiers suffered casualties, and weapons and ammunition were seized. The exact number of soldier casualties has not yet been confirmed as area clearance operations are currently ongoing.
