Local residents reported that military council forces launched kamikaze drone bombing attacks on villages in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region, without any active combat taking place. Although no civilian casualties were reported, homes sustained damage.

On September 17, military council troops targeted Mone Za Lae Village in Pwintbyu Township with kamikaze drone strikes despite the absence of active clashes.

During the attack, one of the two bombs dropped by the kamikaze drones landed in the creek east of Mone Za Lae Village, while the other detonated at the edge of the village, according to local sources.

While no civilians were injured in the strike, one residential home was burned down and destroyed.
