An official from the Yesagyo Township People's Defense Organization (Paka Hfa) told Khit Thit Media that PDF forces discovered and safely cleared landmines planted by military council troops along the Yesagyo–Pakokku road section in Yesagyo Township, Pakokku District, Magway Region.

On September 15 and 16, junta troops stationed in the Pyu Saw Htee village of Sin Chaung reportedly laid landmines along the roadside between Sin Chaung Village and the 12-Mile mark on the Yesagyo–Pakokku road section.

On September 17, PDF members discovered these landmines and deactivated them to prevent harm to traveling civilians.
