On September 12, based on an input from the 33rd Assam Rifles (AR), teams of the Special Chief of Police Commandos (CDO) Unit, Khabeisoi, arrested a cadre of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) identified as Angom Jeeten Singh (55) in the Lamdeng Khunou area under Lamsang Police Station, Imphal West District, Manipur, reports Manipur Police on X. Following further investigation, a search operation at Phayeng Awang Leikai along the UK Road led to the recovery of eight suspected trinitrotoluene (TNT) slabs, seven suspected bombs, 10 detonators, and 151 live rounds of ammunition of different calibres.
