On September 12, a pistol, two magazines and 20 rounds of ammunition looted from Araihazar Police Station during the July mass uprising in August 2024 were found in Araihazar Bazar Mosque near the Police Station in Narayanganj District, reports The Daily Star. Tarek Al Mehedi, additional superintendent of police (Crime), stated that the mosque’s imam spotted a 9mm pistol, two magazines, and 20 rounds of ammunition on a shelf on the first floor of the mosque and informed Police.
