On 13 September 2021, in Villavieja (Huila), unidentified individuals threw a grenade at the private residence of a local cattle rancher. Three women who were at the house got injured in the attack. Authorities have not yet determined if the event is linked to an armed group, but the area is known for the presence of armed groups.
