On September 11, Police arrested two people identified as Abdur Rahim (49) and Mohammad Arafat (20) from a sudden procession of leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations that took place in the Gulshan area of Dhaka, reports Prothom Alo. Police recovered five cocktails from them. 150-200 leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organisations gathered in a lane on Road No. 3 of Gulshan Police Station. Later, the Police dispersed the procession by firing two rubber bullets to control the situation.
