Russian strike on Kyiv damages buildings, injures 16 including two children.

Russian forces have launched a missile attack on the city of Kyiv, damaging an office building and residential buildings in two districts. At least 16 people have been injured, including two children.

Quote from Kyiv City Military Administration: "Four people are known to have been injured, including a 10-year-old girl. Everyone is receiving the necessary medical treatment."

Update as of 08:29: The National Police reported that the number of people injured has risen to 16, including two children: a 10-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy. Most of those injured are residents of a 16-storey building in the Dniprovskyi district damaged in the Russian strike.

Details: Klitschko said that according to early reports, debris had fallen at several locations in the Dniprovskyi district. An office building and a residential building were damaged. Debris also fell on the premises of warehouses and near a petrol station.

In addition, early reports indicated that a non-residential building had been hit in the Sviatoshynskyi district.

A warehouse building was reportedly damaged in the Solomianskyi district.

Update: As of 04:39, Klitschko said that 12 people had been injured in the attack on Kyiv, including two children aged 10 and 12.

Nine people are in hospital.
