Two Military Council vessels traveling upriver toward Bhamo in Kachin State as reinforcements were hit by drone strikes and heavy artillery this morning, September 9, causing them to catch fire, according to frontline sources.

Out of four Military Council vessels that docked at Khon Kham bank above Shwe Gu on the night of September 8, two towboats were struck at around 11:00 AM today, causing their engine rooms to catch fire.

Additionally, around 3:30 PM today, another Military Council vessel was hit by a drone attack near Zin Bon.
