Six junta soldiers were killed when joint revolutionary forces ambushed a military convoy in Tanintharyi Township, Tanintharyi Region, hitting one vehicle with an RPG, an official from the Kyunsu Township People’s Defense Force told Khit Thit Media.

At around 10:00 AM on September 12, joint revolutionary forces ambushed a six-vehicle military convoy traveling from Tanintharyi town toward Myeik near Chaung Nyi Ko village, opening fire with small arms and RPGs.

During the attack, the final vehicle in the six-truck convoy was struck by an RPG and brought to a temporary halt, killing all six junta personnel aboard.
