From around 2:00 PM yesterday, September 12, through the morning of September 13, Y-12 aircraft dropped bombs on Sar Wa Ti, Nyaung Pin Tha, and areas along the banks of the Irrawaddy River, with bombs also falling on Kaung Ton village.

In Kaung Ton village, the aerial bombing triggered fires that destroyed houses, heavily damaging about half of the village and leaving no habitable structures remaining, while also causing civilian casualties, according to local sources.

Additionally, sources reported that junta forces conducted at least 15 airstrikes across Shwegu, Sin Khan, Bhamo, and along the Irrawaddy River.
