On 9 September 2026, according to Russian sources, Ukrainian forces carried out multiple drone strikes on Enerhodar, Zaporizhia. At around 02:00, three drones struck a food kiosk, completely destroying it by fire, while overnight into 10 September another drone struck the Church of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God, damaging its windows. No casualties.
