Missile event in Ukraine on Wed 9th September 2026

On 9 September 2026, Russian forces carried out multiple combined attacks on Mykolaiv, Mykolaiv, using Iskander missiles, Banderol loitering munitions, Shahed UAVs, and guided aerial bombs. Across the attacks, 4 people were killed - a 49-year-old policeman, a 53-year-old man, and two women aged 45 and 64 - while 19 people were injured, including 8 men aged 28-74, 8 women aged 18-71, two boys aged 1 and 8, and a 2-year-old girl. Port, industrial, and other civilian infrastructure was struck. An administrative building, an apartment building, a private house, a hotel, a vehicle, a garage, a warehouse, a penitentiary facility, and an empty warehouse were damaged.
