UAV event in Ukraine on Wed 9th September 2026

On 9 September 2026, Russian forces carried out multiple drone strikes on Zolochiv, Kharkiv, using Molniya and FPV drones. A UAV struck a warehouse, after which Russian forces carried out a follow-up drone attack on rescuers who arrived at the scene, injuring a 49-year-old State Emergency Service worker and damaging 2 fire engines and an emergency medical vehicle. Other drone strikes damaged a Nova Poshta branch, a parked vehicle, an outbuilding, a garage, and 2 vehicles. Other drone strikes destroyed the former district administration building and damaged another administrative building, a Nova Poshta branch, a private household, outbuildings, vehicles, a garage, and power lines.
