💥 Reported airstrike in Ngazun Township

On 7 September 2026, the Myanmar Air Force (MAF) reportedly conducted an airstrike using a fighter jet on Tha Kyin Village in Ngazun Township, Mandalay Region.

According to a local media report, a monk was injured while religious structures and civilian houses were reportedly damaged.

By matching distinctive landmarks visible in images circulating online with satellite imagery on Google Earth, Myanmar Witness geolocated the site to Tha Kyin Village.
