On 6 September 2026, in Nyaung Htauk village (Bilin township, Thaton district, Mon state), the Myanmar military LIB-44 stationed at Kyaikto town fired heavy weapons two times around 5 pm, which fell and exploded at the Tha Dar Thit area in Kwat Thit ward. A 10-year-old girl was killed and her 46-year-old mother was severely injured. 1 fatality.
