On 6 September 2026, in Ywar Thit Taw village (coded as Ywar Thit) (Ngazun township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), a column of around 100 Myanmar military troops advanced from Ngazun town entered Nat Thar Taw village and conducted drone strikes and dropped bombs around 11 am, which fell and exploded on a monastery. A 60-year-old monk was killed and at least eight locals who were staying at the monastery were injured. 1 fatality.
